The Yvés Saint Laurent Museum is one of the incredible places you simply must visit during your time in Marrakech. Yves Saint Laurent was a French designer who fell in love with Marrakech during his many visits to the city. Back in 2017, the museum was built in dedication to Yvés Saint Laurent’s couture legacy. During your visit to the museum, you have the opportunity to see hundreds of garments from Yves Saint Laurent’s 40-year career. So, it is fair to say that a visit to Musée Yves Saint Laurent in Marrakech is probably a dream for every fashion lover.

What to know about visiting Yvés Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech
As with so many other attractions in Marrakech, some things are good to know before your visit. We have done you a favor and collected some of the information that we found most useful doing our visit to the Yvés Saint Laurent Museum.
Getting to Yvés Saint Laurent Museum
Getting to Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech is actually quite easy. The address of the museum is Rue Yves St Laurent, Marrakech 40000, Morocco. You can easily search for the museum on Google Maps and then the app will guide you to the museum. As Marrakech is a very walkable city you should save some money and walk to the museum. Another plus of walking towards the museum is that you will be able to see more of the city.
Opening Hours
The Yvés Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech is open to the public every day, except on Wednesdays. You will be able to visit the museum from 10:00 to 18:00, but keep in mind that the last admission is at 17:30.

Entrance fee
The entrance fees to the museum are 100 DH for a standard ticket and 60 DH for international students if a valid student card is presentable. It is possible to buy your tickets online which we would recommend you do. That way you will be secured a specific time for your visit, and you will also be able to buy a combined ticket to the museum and Jardin Majorelle. For more information, you should check out the booking website which you find right here.
Time spent at the museum
How much time you spend at the Yvés Saint Laurent Museum depends on a few things. If you are a fashion lover, you will probably spend more time than a non-fashion lover. During our visit, we spent about 1 and a half-hour in the museum. That way we had enough time to take in the beautiful architecture, and the stunning clothes, and still be able to take small breaks. Therefore, we would always recommend you set aside enough time for you to take it slow and not stress through the exhibitions. And keep in mind that when you have entered the museum, you are allowed to spend as much time inside as you want (until closing time).

Combine your visit with a walk in Jardin Majorelle
As mentioned earlier it is possible to buy a combined ticket with entrance to both the Yvés Saint Laurent Museum and Jardin Majorelle. Either of these attractions is a must-visit in Marrakech, and we definitely fell in love with the blue wonder of Jardin Majorelle. With under 5 minutes apart in walking distance, it would almost be stupid not to combine these two stunning attractions. Our advice would be to start with Jardin Majorelle as the queue tends to be quite long. And it is also more pleasant to walk around the gardens in the morning rather than in the hot sun during the day.
Best time to visit Yvés Saint Laurent Museum in Marrakech
When it comes to the best time to visit the Yvés Saint Laurent Museum there is no time that is better than others. In the morning you might be able to skip some of the biggest crowds, whereas a visit during midday and afternoon is a good way to escape the heat. But no matter what time of the day you visit the museum you will not be disappointed.
